Ben başladığımda ne Korece bir kitap vardı, ne internet çeviri siteleriyle doluydu. İnsanlar Koreceyi ya Çince ya Japonca sanıyordu (ki hala belli bir kısım için öyle). Etrafımdakilerin 9/10’u ‘ne işine yarayacak, faydalı şeylere yönel’ diyerek psikolojik setler ördü senelerce. Sınav zordu, bırakın Koreceyi, Hanca (Çince kökenli Korece) denilen ayrı bir dil bilgisini daha kullanmanızı bekleyen bir sınavdı. Hiçbir eğitim almamama rağmen vazgeçmediğim için gururluyum. Bölümü Korece olan insanlar varken hukukla beraber nasıl yürütürüm diye düşüne düşüne rüyasını gördüm galiba. Just put up a stories video of me reading some of my notes (good grammar; bad accent) about a psychology article in Portuguese... a language I didn't speak a single word of 7 days ago . Obviously this is because I speak so much Spanish and French and have so much practice reading academic texts in both, but I didn't speak either of those languages 18 months ago... and a year ago I was told it would be impossible to study French and Spanish at the same time. (And, before that, was told it would be YEARS before I could be conversational in Spanish, nevermind fluent.) . I don't think the fact that I can do this is impressive. The thing that is impressive is the fact that I am doing the thing that everyone keeps telling me is impossible and loving the challenge. . The magic recipe, it turns out, is just absolute stubbornness and perfecting the art of chasing the craziest ideas you can come up with the second they pop into your pea brain.

We should never deny a child the opportunity for bilingualism, based off unfounded fear and anxiety. Each child and each case is different and we should always advocate & advise parents/families on a case-by-case basis when it comes to children with differing abilities ➕ multilingualism. However, in terms of speech delays - “There is currently no empirical evidence to link bilingualism to language delay. Dual language learning does not cause confusion and or language delays in young children, as shown from grounded research” (DeHouwer, 2009; Paradis, et al., 2011). Furthermore, “Many, many children throughout the world grow up with two or more languages from infancy without showing any signs of language delays or disorder”. De Houwer (1999). Research shows that both monolingual and bilingual children meet language developmental milestones within the same time frames. If you’re looking for signs, then a common sign of speech delay is when a child is NOT meeting the language developmental milestones for their age whether they are monolingual or bilingual. Taq-e Bostan (persa: طاق بستان, kurdo del sur: تاقوەسان) significa "Arco del Jardín" o "Arco hecho de piedra" [1] es un sitio con una serie de relieves en roca de gran tamaño de la época del Imperio sasánida. Persia (Irán), tallada alrededor del siglo IV dC.
