#maternalmentalhealth⁣ Yesterday I had to do some work related things. It was the first time I had left Tammy and she was screaming when I went out of the door, which was stressful (as well as having no time to get ready!). It was also the first time I had had to think about work and be intellectually challenged since giving birth. I felt absolutely frazzled afterwards. ⁣ ⁣ On arriving in the driveway, I was greeted by both Zach and Tammy who were both demanding my attention. They then continued to be clingy for the rest of the evening! Although it was lovely to cuddle them, I didn’t get any of the headspace I’d been so craving.⁣ ⁣ It seemed relevant to post this in the context #maternalmentalhealth awareness week, as it can be hard enough for mums to juggle all the things they need to do on a daily basis, let alone even think about their own mental wellbeing.
