What does music mean to me? This photo is probably the best representation of my answer for it- it is never-ending, it is complex, it is transcending, it is mind-bending, it is soul-wrenching I have been singing all my life but it’s only been recent that I’ve discovered exactly how much it defines me as a person. What might have started as extra credit in my community has evolved and grown into a powerful life force that pushes me on even when I am at my lowest points in life. It is important to remember the things that inspire you and bring you joy, because those very things will be your crutch when you question your purpose in life (we all inevitably do) I have recently started exploring different genres and styles of music that have enlightened me in wonderful ways I never expected! To have goosebumps listening to a certain song or score is something I unfortunately can not explain to you in words but something you need to experience for yourself. And I urge you amigos to do so, because when you do find your niche in music, you will never turn back. Having said that, I have loved ones who don’t find music at the core of their very existence and that is okay too. I am just glad to finally realise that music will always play a prominent role on my personal journey and it has helped me look at my priorities in life.
