❤️❤️❤️Attention Down syndrome momma’s ❤️❤️❤️ While eating dinner one night across from our hotel with only Gibson we met another family and is blessed ! We were walking out about to walk back and I spotted those almond eyes and did that weird ds momma thing and introduced myself and of course we bonded instantly the family and I ! So much so that I begged them when they were floating down the river to stop at our hotel and get out so my family could meet them and treat them to a picnic style lunch ! And they totally did the next day ! My family and I fell in love with sassy miss Sarah !!! We had such an emotional and just beautiful conversation with the parents ! It really is the best tribe In the world !!! It’s a bond ! I have yet to meet a mother who has a child with ds that I haven’t bonded with very quickly ! The sisterhood you gain the minute your child is born is pure beauty ! I mean one minute you are stranger next you are taking turns sharing stories and pumping each other up with positive insights on how amazing our children all are !!! Wenn es so schlimme und schreckliche Schicksalsschläge in der Familie oder im engen Freundeskreis gibt, ist es schwer diese zu ertragen, damit umzugehen und wieder fröhlich zu sein. Es zieht einem regelrecht den Boden unter den Füßen weg, so ging es mir zumindest. Sie machen einem aber auch bewusst, wie dankbar man sein muss. Für all das was man hat: Zwei gesunde Töchter. Ein schönes Zu Hause. Keine Geldsorgen. Was will man denn mehr? Das ist doch schon ein 6er im Lotto? Ich muss euch gestehen, ich genieße die Zeit mit Leni und Lou viel intensiver, erfreue mich über kleine Dinge und ich bin ihnen so dankbar! Was hätte ich in den letzten 3 Wochen nur ohne sie gemacht?!? Ich konnte nicht mehr Lachen, habe viel geweint, nachgedacht und war so so traurig. Sie haben mir mein Lachen und meine Freude zurück gegeben. Jeden Tag ein bisschen mehr. Sie haben es verdient eine glückliche Mama zu haben, weil sie so tolle Kinder sind. So lustig, so lieb und auch mitfühlend sind. Gerade Leni... sie ist erst vier Jahre alt, aber hat so enorm viel Mitgefühl, dass es mich immer wieder überrascht und sich manch ein Erwachsener sich ein Stück von ihr abschneiden könnte! Sie hat mir mir geweint und mich gehalten, so fest sie konnte.
