We are fairly new ... we’ve been open for just under two years. We still find it difficult to describe MOOCH, partly because we change every day. Here’s my best shot: we curate a wonderful collection of beautiful products; we have some of the warmest, kindest team members on the high street; and we absolutely adore our customers. Well it's April, and that means it's the start of #myshoplife19, a wee Instagram challenge organised by the lovely @pencilmeinshop, celebrating independent shops! ️ Day 1 is "Welcome to my shop", so, welcome to the Coo's Tail Gallery! We are an independent gallery and gift shop in Thurso, Caithness which is in the faaaaaar North of Scotland. We focus mainly on Scottish contemporary artists and designers, but we will cast our nets a wee bit wider to bring our customers beautiful and unusual pieces for their homes. ️️ We offer a Fine Art Trade Guild commended picture framing service. And we are stockists of Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan, and run painting workshops throughout the year. ️️ We hope you enjoy following and finding out a bit more about us as we muddle through this month of posting! ….It’s the FINAL day of the #myshoplife19 challenge and the final prompt is IF I COULD CHANGE… I’m sure I won’t be the only shopkeeper wishing they had more SPACE. I’d love a bigger store to have more stock and wider ranges So that’s probably the one thing I’d change, oh and the floor, I’d like a new floor please ‍♂️Preferably polished concrete…and thats the end of #myshoplife19!
