WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Not necessarily WW related, but it kind of is because I may be a little MIA over the coming months. We bought our first home!! It’s a big house that we will raise a family in, but first, we’ve got some work to do It’s a bit of a fixer upper and we will be rehabbing a lot of it. I know this will be a huge trial of my maintenance, especially because at one point we’ll be gutting the entire kitchen I’m super excited about our new chapter

What does ONE YEAR of maintaining look like ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Oh, it looks like all the same hard work that got you to your goal (whatever that goal is!!) but without the satisfaction of seeing the big changes that kept you motivated before. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Maintaining is subtle and much less glamorous than losing. “Oh my gosh, you look like you’re maintaining so well! You look EXACTLY the same as the last time I saw you! Does it feel amazing?!” -said exactly nobody to me, ever! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Maintenance is the collection of every little effort you make each day. It’s living more ON plan than OFF plan! It’s embracing that my “normal” is meal planning and tracking.
