10 second transformation⁣ ⁣ These pictures were taken 10 seconds apart. Like the toothbrush is literally in the same place in both frames lol ⁣ I’ve made “flexed vs. unflexed” transformation posts before, but I really want to break this one down and tell y’all the secrets behind it. If you’re new to my page, I’m all about transparency so here we go.⁣ ⁣ In the picture on the left, I look the way I look 99% of always. That is, to someone viewing me from the frontside. That’s key because angles play a massive role in what we perceive of a human physique. On the left, I’m straight on to the camera/mirror. This makes my waist look bigger, nearly the same perceived width as my upper torso. I’m standing tall (because posture right), which means my shoulders are pulled back. This lifts my pecks slightly, taking away the deep shadowy underbellies of the pecks. I don’t even know if those terms are real, but the shadows go away because of that. And then finally, I’m not flexing (bruh I wasn’t even flexing).⁣ ⁣ Then the image on the right is a whole ‘nother monster. Literally night and day. The single most important difference is the positioning of my hips and chest/shoulders. You can hardly tell, but my hips are actually angled a full 90 degrees away from the mirror. Then, while forcing my hips and abs to stay facing away from the mirror, I very intentionally rotate my shoulders to face the mirror. This creates the illusion that my chest/shoulders are far wider, and simultaneously creates the illusion that my abdomen is far thinner.⁣ ⁣ Next I have my arm pulled back so as not to cover my lats/obliques. This intentionally showcases the leanness of my serratus muscles covering my ribs. Additionally, it makes my lats visible, further creating the illusion that my upper torso is wider. I then lean my shoulders slightly forward, pushing down my pecks and creating that deep shadowy underbelly thing.⁣ ⁣ And finally, I’m literally flexing so hard that I’m not breathing while I take the pic. Specifically, I’m ONLY flexing my abs. Flexing the chest actually pulls the pecks up and takes away the underbelly. But yeah. Much flex. Much abs. #HeartOfALyon⁣ ⁣ Lemme know what ya think!
