What a happy day! I love when my hoomans choose trails that follow water. Mom was super entertained by my zig zagging. I would walk the trail some and then take a dip in the water and repeat. Sometimes I'd bring out a stick for fetch. I was so happy that I even posed in the ferns with a smile and no rebuttal

This little lady is pooped after our lake adventures today! ↠ Not only did we learn what drives her to swim (ducks), we also learned that if I’m drowning Luna will come save me Kind of... I was being a 27 year old child and playing “body surf the waves” on my life jacket and Luna did not like it! After 5 minutes of losing her mind on shore (and me coming in closer, of course) she finally jumped in and swam after me. Wanting her to hang out with me out there, I grabbed the loop on her life jacket and then we discovered she can tow me to shore She swam her little heart out until we were back. So needless to say, she has been passed out the majority of the time we’ve been home! It’s good to know that if I’m drowning (close enough to shore) that Luna will accidentally come save me! Haha!

This was one of the times mom didn't bring her camera. She always regrets it, though! We went out for one last hoorah before my surgery this week.

To be honest, I had quite a few expectations towards my new Puppy, but "loving water" was not one of them. I'm not the biggest water lover myself, so my dog doesn't have to love it either. Yet, the last weeks we ended up spending a fair amount of time by the water and I'm so glad Izzy loved it. It made our recent adventures so much better
