This is a new and very special doll. It’s a portrait of @melaniegaydos, my true friend who I fell in love with for how smart and funny she is. For her way of thinking about life, business, and just for the way she looks at herself and those around her. To be a model and an actress is hard even for a conventionally beautiful person and it is 50 times harder for a person who is unconventionally so. Neither a traditionally gorgeous appearance or a unique one is a ticket to the fashion industry by itself. But she shaped the way she would see herself and in turn how others could see her and made herself successful. I’ve learned a lot from her in the short time that I’ve known her and I cherish our relationship. I made this doll because I was tired of all the beautiful faces. I wanted something gorgeous instead. And when I met Melanie, she was like a Unicorn. The one you can see only once in your lifetime. Her sculpt is a very limited edition of 6 which will all come with a certificate of authenticity co-signed by my lovely friend and model.
