On-site calligraphy is, hands down, one of my favorite things to do ✍✍ 99% of the time I’m by myself writing calligraphy and I rarely get the see how people react when they receive what I write, so it’s really a treat to see people’s reactions in real-time and also reminds me of how mysterious all the supplies looked to me before I started doing calligraphy myself. Each person chose a card for me to personalize, then they brought it over to Priscilla at the Petal Bar, where she helped them create a little arrangement of dried florals to put in their tiny vase with the card. So you end up with a cute custom arrangement that won’t die and you can’t kill, and it adds a pretty little pop of color wherever you want to put it! I don’t often see my cakes cut and served up. This was a rare occasion where I had the pleasure of attending an event where I supplied the cakes, and I cut them myself! Now let’s talk about the serving size. These are actually called coffee serves; they are half the size of a wedding serving (1x1x4 vs 1x2x4) and are meant to accompany coffee, perhaps some other small desserts.
