ℹ❗What a lot of people don't know about me is that I have a chronic lower-back injury from dancing. Basically the space in between my last vertebrae and my sacrum has been narrowing and grinding, from all the years of heavy-impact from dancing. A couple years ago when I was studying dance I would constantly injure and tear both my hamstrings. It was NOT fun! And I didn't understand why, because I would warm-up and stretch and cool-down etc as dancers would. After I'd finished studying and moved to Cape Town I decided to go get an X-ray, which is when the doctor told me about my back. I struggle with my back a lot and it's not flexible at all, but believe me.. it's a lot better than what it used to be. I'm still working at it and strengthening my back and working on my posture every single day, keeping my core strong and making sure to keep MOVING it's the only way I'm sure there's some of you who can relate?
