Colors by gender are pushed on us before we’re even born. If you’ve never heard of the history behind #blueforboys and #pinkforgirls, it’s pretty fascinating. Those norms are fairly new. And at one point, they were even swapped Via @smithsonian: “Ladies' Home Journal article in June 1918 said, ‘The generally accepted rule is pink for the boys, and blue for the girls.
