Not long ago, I glorified the hustle in running and organizing a business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Like, who doesn't feel like they’ve got it all together when they are constantly in hustle mode? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ...Nah, you don't? Oh, ok. 'Cause DAT ME BEFORE. ‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I thought busy was a badge of fulfillment and I was pretty proud to get it out there that I am bUsYyy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, fast forward to today - nope, I already extracted that badge off of me and have this new found, not-so-groundbreaking perspective on how I'd be rolling these days. ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Actually, I am still pro-hustling. Because that's how we make things happen - by taking action. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But as of lately, I don't just turbo charge. Instead, I hustle with intention. I use my intuition to recognize what matters - not basing on what's on trend - but what TRULY matters to me. Using that as my north star, I work my ass off to get it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Hustling with intention also means recognizing when I need to rest and sign off from the online space. There's so much information everywhere and I sometimes find myself mindlessly cranking all space to fit everything -- to the point I get overwhelmed with everything. And that's the thing, too, I used to blame it before to how overwhelming it could get when running a business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When it doesn't need to be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We just gotta be mindful with how we welcome OTHER ideas in our head, and how our own, innate ideas are still our main source for ✨creating.✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These past 3 weekends were dedicated for signing off. And I was surprised to see on paper how I had these ideas all along in me that wouldn't have seen the light of day if it weren't for the quiet time that I had. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This really helps me get back to work brimming with energy and new ideas. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So yes, I still hustle and all but with utmost intention and doing it mindfully. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What about you: how do you roll these days?

This is what I love about being an adult: I can have a cake (or cakes even!) anytime I want. Paired with iced coffee without my mom butting in, "Oh, you will never grow taller if you keep drinking coffee!" (Filipino moms, I guess.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What I DO NOT LIKE about adulthood is my attention span getting lesser and lesser. Such a bad one because of this withering attention span, so much time is wasted. And with that money too. There was one time I found myself mindlessly scrolling on Facebook only to realize a billion minutes after that it was the time of the day I was supposed to engage on groups. One of my intentions this year is to finally work on one SINGLE task at a time and if anything pops out of nowhere, I keep a handy tiny notebook beside me to jot down quickly the thought and get back to it after I finish my current task. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Oh, adulthood seems like a fun thing to do (as what my younger self hoped for). There's so much to do about learning and unlearning; pulling ourselves back up and dusting off after falling; and just taking care of ourselves in general. Gosh, we could be such a handful sometimes, don’t you think? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So what do you love about being an adult? And what do you wish to change?
