If you were curious about my poxwalkers, here's a walkthrough for their skin ❤ 1. Citadel "Chaos black" spray 2. Citadel "Kislev Flesh", fading so that there's black in the deepest shadows 3. Mix of Citadel "Kislev Flesh" and Vallejo "Ivory" - highlighting the most raised areas 4. Vallejo "Ivory" - pimples, spots and maggots, as well as on the edges of wounds and across boils to give them a light base before they get blood later 5. Citadel "Daemonette Hide" for veins, spreading out from infected areas. Plus stretch marks if the model has bloating 6. Citadel "Typhus Corrosion" technical paint - shading the main flesh areas, where shadows would fall from light above e.g. under armpits, under fat rolls 7. Citadel "Athonian Camoshade" wash (not pictured) - dark green ink over the areas of boils and spots, so that their shadows are green and the area around them is slightly green tinged 8. Citadel "Blood for the Blood God" technical paint - lightly across spots so the centre is still pale, heavily inside deep wounds and gouges. Plus as any other blood details e.g. blood drips from wounds, this guy has blood tears, and around maggots. 9. Vallejo "Black Glaze" (not pictured)- into the deepest shadows to increase the contrast between areas, this should make it pop more on tabletop 10. Mix of Citadel "Kislev Flesh" and Vallejo "Ivory" - back over the most raised areas of skin to bring them back up after all the shading. I also wash Kislev Flesh across the veins to make them more translucent 11. Vallejo "Ivory" - back over the maggots and spots, as well as final highlight on the horns. For large boils, I put a few small spots of ivory on the Blood to look like pus build-up 12. Citadel "Blood for the Blood God" technical paint - just a refresher. 13. Citadel "Nurgle's Rot" technical paint - across areas of spots to make them look infected, on boils, and for this chap on the tips of his spikes.
