We came here skeptical, weary of crowds, of flies, of queues, and of touristy pomp. But now we’re walking away 100% certain we’d stay here for another month if we could. It took us 30+ hours of drive time, heaps of gas money, and the dirt has permanently turned our feet and hiking shoes red, but let us tell you - Uluru was above and beyond our expectations. Welcome to ULURU ✨You have to see it to believe it. And even then, you might not be able to actually believe it. It’s massive. It’s magical. It’s moving. It made a big, red stamp on our hearts and big, red stains on our feet and clothes. We still have goosebumps and probably will for some time, and until we can better articulate how amazing this week has been, we’ll just say the sincerest “thank you” to the Aṉangu people for protecting this place and sharing it with us.
