Big Dog Ranch Rescue lost a great friend, Chris Cline. Please read a message from our President/founder, Lauree Simmons. Yesterday we lost a very special friend to me and to Big Dog Ranch. Chris Cline and his beautiful daughter Kameron, along with several others died in a helicopter crash off his island in the Bahamas. He was an amazing client and friend for almost 20 years. Chris was so giving and supportive of our mission to save dogs. He so loved his dog Nikki, who sadly passed last year. Not only did he host and sponsor our fundraising golf tournament three years in a row, Chris also built a building at our facility, which houses 100 homeless dogs. But that’s not all, he even paid all our ranch utilities for this year. His philanthropy was huge like his heart and it lives on at Big Dog Ranch. He loved his family and was a true inspiration to so many. I will always be grateful to have known him and been a part of his life on so many design and build projects. He and his daughter Kameron will be greatly missed. My heart bleeds for his family. Today was his 61st birthday. Life is short, we never know when it’s going to end. Hug your family. Hug your dogs. Make a difference and live like it was your last day. Rest in peace alongside the lord Chris and Kami. I know Nikki is beside you both.
