Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots for PC. The expansion for my favorite RTS made it even better. When I want to play it now I use the Steam version but I still have my physical copy from when the game was released. I never enjoyed a RTS more than this series. It just had everything I wanted in a game like, except a bigger population count. Back to Rise of Nations for a moment here. In this picture, I am using the Second Great War mod and using Canada as my nation. Holy hell, the detail and animations to everything is pitch-perfect. Getting started early on was a nightmare since most of the units were unbearably slow and finding resources and getting upgrades took so unbelievably long.
