I had the sweetest time at one of my favorite places (looking at you, @sierravistava) with two of the kindest souls tonight! As I drove home though, this is the moment & the story I kept thinking of: each of these paper links represents the amount of days until these two get married! (72 days left!) Each day they get to tear one off and watch it get shorter as they get closer to their wedding day. Chris’ dad was in the military and when he was deployed, his mom would make paper chains just like this so they could watch the chain get shorter in eager anticipation for their dad to return home || I only cried a little Chris & Emily— thanks for bypassing rain and embracing wind with me! It was an honor to capture your story & I can’t wait for your big day!

Lately: I’ve been reading one of my favorite books, Everybody Always by @bobgoff. I’ve been outside any time it hits 60ish degrees in my @enohammocks with my 2 year old. We’re really into hot wheels cars lately, so I’ve been thriving as a boy mom. we’ve stayed over the moon busy, but are still striving to make time for family adventures, community, friends, and most importantly solitude with the Lord. || OH and we’ll be headed to DISNEY WORLD next month and Ellis can now officially identity Mickey Mouse, so I think we’re ready ✨ #fridayintroductions : @mlf5035
