About Crimson Sails. ⠀ It is world known event on one of the weekend in the end of June, colorful show for graduated schoolchildren. Concert, party on the Palace Square and fireworks at night with opened bridges and sailing ship in fireworks. Impressive, even I haven’t been once. ⠀ Everybody wants to see that, but it is the event with tickets, tickets can get only schoolchildren. ⠀ Lifehacks how to see the festival. ⠀ Get Flying Dutchman restaurant. 20 000 (330$) for a guest for a table in third row, 50000 (800$) for guest for a table with a view. ⠀ Expensive, food is so so. Perfect view. ⠀ Check repeatition instead. At night of weekend before the show that ship goes back and forth the whole night. We love to practice. No fireworks tho ⠀ Free. No fireworks ⠀ Come to some area around the show - Trinity square or Field of Mars, University Embankment. ⠀ Free. Not the perfect view. ⠀ Buy tickets before the show from hands. ⠀ Expensive. Tricky (they can be not valid). The pleasure of being with future of Russia is so so. ⠀ You also can check it with tours - but I didnt hear good feedbacks - constantly something goes wrong with those tours. ⠀ Expensive. Tricky.

I am in shock! Today, in cycle class I met one lady, she is 60 years old. And she said, that in Russia it is better to be a man. Women live bad. You can see my happy face. All my life men helped me and I did not do something hard for me. I think it is not important in which country you are live, it is all depends on you. If you are smart and interesting person, you wiil be happy in any country. I love my country Russia. And I am so proud to be russian girl. I have a happy life and for me to be a woman in Russia it is a pleasure. Russian men care about women. They provide us, help.. and they to do all for us. I think problem is a not a country. Problem is in a person, which is lasy and don't want to to something. __________________RUS__________ Я в шоке! #dailyrussianguide #dailylife #Russia #russianguide #russianteacher #philosophy

And many others famous compositions were created here. . The museum was opened in 1894 and it contains the richest collection of 200 000 items. . Revealing all secrets ⠀ Myth 1: St. Petersburg was named in honor of Peter I Many people mistakenly believe that St. Petersburg was named after its founder - Peter I. However, the city is named after the patron saint of the first Russian emperor - the Apostle Peter. ⠀ Myth 2: The myth of the founding of St. Petersburg "May 16, 1703 during the inspection of the island, Peter suddenly stopped and cut out two layers of sod, laid them crosswise and said," Here be the city. "At this time, there was an eagle in the air and began to soar over the king." In fact, on Hare Island was laid not as a city but a fortress. ⠀ Myth 3: St. Petersburg was founded on an uninhabited desert area This legend has taken root in the minds of Petrograd, which helped a lot from the lines from Pushkin's "The Bronze Horseman": "On the shore of the desert waves." In fact, there were about forty villages in this area. ⠀ Myth 4: The Bronze Horseman is made of copper "The Bronze Horseman" - a symbol of the city. "The Bronze Horseman - we are all in the vibration of its copper," - said Alexander Blok. However, the material of the monument is not copper, but bronze, and it got its name only after the appearance of the poem by Alexander Pushkin. ⠀ Myth 5: Kissing bridge got its name because of love Until now, the Kisses Bridge is a place of rendezvous for lovers. So it has been a legend, for a long time. Actually the bridge was named after the merchant Potseluev, who had a restaurant on the left bank of the river embankment. The tavern was called "The Kiss" , and therefore, the leading to the tavern bridge was called the Kissing Bridge. ⠀ Myth 6: The myth of the origin of the name "Vasilevsky Island" On the origin of the name "Vasilevsky Island" is also a legend-delusion. It is believed that when Peter on the western tip of the island was strengthening, commanded an artillery captain Vasily Korchmin. Sending orders to him, Peter said: "To Vasily on the island" - hence, supposedly the name. But the name of the island existed before the founding of St. Petersburg.

And last time I went to Saint Petersburg. We were visiting my boyfriend’s relatives during New Year’s holidays. ☃️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I had been in Saint Petersburg earlier and that trip was better. Because I saw a lot of beautiful places at first. And also, it was almost summer. So, the weather was very good. If you’ve never visited Saint Petersburg, you should know that this city is colder than Moscow. It’s often cloudy and rainy and windy, it’s so damn cold. So, I suggest you visit Petersburg during the summer, it’s the best time. And of course, at that time you can see the most beautiful nature’s phenomenon. The white night, a night in which it never gets completely dark. Hey! Yesterday I told you how people had been celebrating Maslenitsa in the Ancient’s Russia times. ‍♀️❄️ Nowadays we have quite different traditions. Actually we have a different lifestyle and this is the reason why we can’t follow all the traditions. So, we follow only the main rules, we eat pancakes during the holiday week and we go out to the centre of city on the weekends to take part in the mass open-air merrymakings and festivals. There are a lot of people who are dancing, singing traditional songs, going sleigh ridding, taking part in the different competitions, listening and singing ditties, eating pancakes to get warm. There are the same festivals in the schools. And you can also take part in such festivals. In my school we have been celebrating Maslenitsa every year. All the residents come to our school and pupils with teachers of our school entertain all the guests. They are singing for them and dancing with them. Also you can take part in the competitions and win tickets. You can get pancakes or tea for that tickets. In the end of the holiday all the people split in the circle dance while the Jack-straw is burning. After that pupils take part in the snowball fight. ❄️ On this Thursday I am going to visit my school to take part in that festival and to show you guys how it’s going on there. #russiantraditions #learnrussianwords #learnrussianonline #russianpeople #photoofrussia #russiaforever #formotherrussia #russianlanguageteacher #loverussian #traveltorussia #learninglanguage #studyrussian #russianwords #beautifulrussia #beautifulrussiangirl #russianguide #russianculture #russiangay #russianbear #russianbeauties #russiangift
