As y’all know , just last week we moved into a house from a basement apartment. So now Elijah is upstairs for his naps and bedtime while we are downstairs in the living room. It’s true. They say that your heart doubles in size. Our little Jonah is already 10 days old. He is so docile and hardly makes a peep (knock on wood). His big brother showers him with hugs and kisses and I think has finally figured out that he’s not going anywhere. We are so blessed that he’s ours. I love swaddling my babies and I used to love the Halo sleepsack when Noah was in that stage but I was recently introduced to the @theollieworld swaddle and its my new fave! My beautiful poorly baba having a nice long nap in his Tutti Bambini Cozee . Reuben has coslept with us since being only a few weeks old. We couldn’t get him to settle in his moses basket or bedside crib - he’d only fall asleep on me and would wake if I put him down. Therefore we decided to try practicing safe cosleeping and Reuben actually slept! We’ve coslept ever since and it has served us well. . However, it has always been my aim to get him in his own bed as soon as he’s ready. I’ve been putting him down for naps in his bedside crib in the hope he’ll feel more comfortable spending the night in it. . Last night he spent the whole night in his bedside crib . I’m so pleased because this bedside crib has a great tilt function on it which was much needed as Reuben has bronchitis so is very chesty, phlegmy and struggling to breathe. Being led flat makes all of the above worse. . I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed that he’ll transition into this beautiful bedside crib going forward! I highly recommend this crib - not only is it stunning but the tilt function is amazing, it has storage underneath, is suitable for ottoman beds and is ridiculously easy to pack away.
