Spent my morning at UCLA taking a Strategy class at the business school It was so interesting analyzing a case study on @theeconomist and learning about differentiation strategies, as well as the sustainability of competitive advantage. From what I gathered, the class setting leaned more towards being a conversation between the professor & students, which allowed for a greater (& better IMO) flow of ideas in the class room setting! ‍♀️ definitely a great way to start the day #ucla #gobruins

On April 17th of 2015, I was accepted to the UCLA School of Nursing Here’s the story of how I got into UCLA with a C on my transcript: It was my dream to go to UCLA since I was a little girl. In high school, you learn that GPA and SAT are two of the most important factors to your college admission. Freshman year I did great, 4.0! Sophomore year, I skipped a class called algebra 2/trig and went into precalculus, which is basically 2/trig on prednisone (AKA steroids). I worked really hard but ended up getting a C in the class. Yes-straight A student, to a C . As a dramatic high school student, I thought I’d never get into college, and definitely not the UCLA school of nursing. • With the unconditional support of my parents, I decided that I would not give up on my dream to go to UCLA. I ended up concurrently enrolling in high school and community college, meaning I was taking 9️⃣ classes at a time and was at school from 7:30 AM all the way until 10 PM . I was exhausted, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I didn’t give it my best shot. • April 17th, my dreams came true. I became a Bruin!
