Isaiah 8:17. We find ourselves waiting on God often in life. We wait for God to answer our prayers. We wait for God to reveal His will for us. We wait for His direction when we are unsure what to do. We wait for His healing when we are sick. We wait for God to open doors in our lives and bless us with opportunities. We wait for God to rescue and deliver us from trouble and adversity. We wait for God to make things better and change our lives. We wait for God to provide us with the right career and lead us to the right spouse He has picked for us. Most of our waiting on God can be divided into one of two things: we are waiting for God to move in our lives and do something, or we are waiting to hear His voice of guidance and direction to reveal what He wants us to do. As humans, we hate to wait because we get impatient, get in a hurry, and think waiting gets nothing accomplished. God often makes us wait because His timing is perfect and rarely matches our timing. We like to rush God and get in a hurry when we expect Him to move in our lives, but we must learn to wait for Him instead of moving ahead without Him. Waiting for God is always best for us, and if He is slowing us down, we can trust it is for a good reason. So how do we wait for God and what are we supposed to do why we wait for Him? We are able to wait patiently for God by putting our hope and trust in Him. Having faith that God is with us and trusting that He will move in our lives at the right time enables us to keep waiting until God does something. While we are waiting, we should learn patience, reflect on what God has done for us in the past, and pray expectantly and continuously until God does something. Wait for God instead of moving ahead without Him because waiting on God is always best and worth the wait.

I absolutely love this! Because, I look up today, and I literally even say this to myself only God! I can look around, and even in my prayer journal stuff I had prayed for I can say Only God. I want to remind you tonight that one of God’s promises in his word is surely Goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life. Psalm 23:6. Because you are a child of God people will literally ask you how! Because, it won’t be you it will be God’s favor over your life, that favor will open doors, it will give you positions you didn’t even apply for, you will be abundantly blessed wherever you go. Gods favor literally follows his children all our days of our lives! We serve such a good father!

Psalm 23:6-Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever
Matthew 5:8. Blessed are those who have pure hearts for they will see God. The beatitudes are a series of blessings that includes this blessing for those who have pure hearts. What does it mean for us to have pure hearts? How do we make sure we have a pure heart? First, we need to define pure. Pure can be defined as having no imperfections or blemishes, and it can also mean being unmixed with other substances. In order for our hearts to be pure, it must love God and godly things first and foremost. Our hearts must be focused on pleasing God and always keep us pointed toward Christ. For our hearts to be pure, we must have the Holy Spirit living inside us, working on our hearts to remove sin and imperfections. To be pure, our hearts must not mix love for God with love for worldly things. Our hearts must be unmixed with anger, bitterness, worry, greed, jealousy, hatred, pride, materialism, selfishness, and doubt. Our hearts should not be tainted with any emotions or feelings that pull us into sin and away from God. Faith in God and obedience to His will also makes our hearts pure. Being thankful, humble, honest, respectful, and morally sound will also keep our hearts pure. If our hearts are pure, Jesus says that we will be blessed, and our blessing is that we will see God. Thanks to our pure hearts, we will see His presence in our lives and in Heaven. Ask God to purify your heart and guard your heart against anything that threatens its purity for God.
Meditate, Memorize and declare it over your life, family, health & situation!
