As soon as I saw the stunning “Carousel” colourway in @lionbrandyarn ‘s Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, I fell in love I mean, how pretty do the light pink, purple, mint green, grey and cream blend together? I’m normally not a huge fan of variegated yarns and I like to stick to my neutral colours, but I wanted to design something with this stunner! . I have a penchant for holding two different yarns together for varied texture and visual interest (namely Wool-Ease Thick & Quick + Homespun yarn)! Remember my Simple Garter Stitch Scarf and Chunky Ribbed Blanket? I wanted to use the same technique for this design, this time using seed stitch, and I looove how it turned out! I am calling it the “Cotton Candy Cowl” as the colours and texture remind me of whimsical and fluffy cotton candy! ☁️ Free knit pattern coming next week, and it’s PERFECT for beginners who have been wanting to practice their knits and purls!
