It seems that the cannoli here was created by co-owner and head chef @limyewaun’s own wife. Well, she is certainly a talented lady because this piece of dessert is one of the loveliest cannolis I’ve eaten in recent memory (the other albeit smaller version was at @idlewildsg). For me, it hits the ideal ratio of pastry shell to filling. And I adore the bright note brought on by the housemade citrus peel.
So even if you do carb-load on the tasty pastas at @barcicheti, I suggest leaving enough stomach space to scoff a couple of these.

1️⃣Laksa Soft-Shell Crab ($16.90)
This dish won me over with the very first mouthful, and my dining partner and I unanimously voted this as our favourite dish, with both of us praising the dish non-stop as we polished every single drop of that laksa The noodles had a nice bite to them and the laksa sauce was just soo thick and fragrant! The dish also comes with mini fishballs and even quail eggs, which I think is a nice touch.Don't spend too long taking photos though, your softshell crab will get soggy

2️⃣Sambal Tumis Toolang ($24.90)
The meat was really melt-in-your-mouth tender too The gravy leans towards the sweeter side, yet it wasn't cloyingly so, and I loved how the flavour was so well-marinated into the meat!

3️⃣Briyani Burger ($18.90)
If you love your spices real strong, this burger might be just the thing for you! That being said, I couldn't really taste the mutton and the spices proved to be rather overpowering after awhile. I guess the Raita dressing atop the patty as well as cheese attempted to balance out the strong flavour of the spices, but I was still rather overwhelmed The patty was really moist an juicy, yet had a great bite to it, which I really liked though!
