This sweetie girl is home. Still no answers why she fell so sick suddenly but her blood sample has been sent away for further testing which we will receive in a few days. For those who have missed my story I woke Mahiya yesterday morning as she had slept in. Which already is out of the ordinary for her.. when I tried to wake her she was limp, shaky and really sleepy. She couldn’t stand up when I tried to get her up. So I gave her a drink and some apples to try and liven her thinking she could be dehydrated. After bringing her out on the couch with her bothers she still hadn’t improved after an hour so I called the ambos.. she was this way all day until late yesterday afternoon. She had bloods taken, a cannula in for Glucose and saline, urine test and hourly sugar tests. Her sugar levels were really low and her Ketone levels high.. her urine sample showed dehydration as if she had not eaten or had a drink for over 2days.. she’s the hungriest little caterpillar legit does not stop eating and drinking. She ate her dinner the night before no problems, no sign of any other sickness, no fever etc. but we have come to a dead end. Hopefully the extra blood results show something to give us a reason why it happened. But good news she perked up last night with the glucose and saline going through it really did wonders. She’s woken this morning her normal crazy bubbling self so she was allowed to go home.
