Our babywearing story PT1.
Today, it's ten days since I was active here, but I think I needed some distance. I get lots of DM's with babywearing questions and I have promised to share some of my experiences. I have chosen to split it into two posts to talk about some of my favorites. ✨
Kid is now 1.5 years and I've been wearing him since he was 2 months old. When I decided to try babywearing, I thought the whole babywearing world was like a jungle and that it was hard to know what to choose.
Picture 2 - The first wrap we used was an "Aldoria bamboo soft", it's a soft tricot sling that I think is very easy to use and optimal for beginners.
Picture 3 - The first woven wrap I bought was this beauty. A Solnce Fern Meteor. As a first woven wrap, I experienced it as a bit difficult to tie because it is a bit thicker, but now that Kid is bigger and I’m a better wrapper, I’m totally in love with it. The first movie in the slide show is also from the brand Solnce (@solnceslings ), called Odyssey. Also an amazing wrap.
Picture 4 - This is my "go to wrap", Wyrm from the Swedish brand Sjala (@sjala.nu). It's in 100% cotton, very soft and I would really recommend it as a beginner's wrap.
Just let me know if you have any questions, I will post PT2 tomorrow. ❤️
