I redid all of the weaving on Reynir's sleeves, but now it matches much better with the weave on the rest of the jacket! Since the design is so vague and inconsistent in the comic, I basically just designed a pattern that seemed practical, pretty and "close enough". Wanna see the coolest thing about #huckweaving ? It's completely clean on the underside! This is because the design is done by picking up "floating" threads rather than by penetrating fabric! Huck weaving is traditionally done on Huck cloth or Monk's cloth, but for my purpose I have to use this knit fabric! Since it still has a "floating" weave I can still make it work! The stitching is done! This needlework style is called Swedish Huck Weaving. It is done on a Huck (or sometimes called, Huckaback) fabric that is made up of “floaters” on which you weave the threads. This pattern is called ‘Broken Arrow’ and was designed in 2007 by Swedish Weave Designs.
