Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fucking ruled. Taking place after Terminator 2, the mains leap forward in time past the events of T3 and totally avoid the shitty turn the movie franchise quickly made. I'm happy with just having the first two movies and this to be perfectly honest. Like the first two films, this series showed us new things we hadn't seen about Skynet and the terminators, but unlike the last three movies, it kept the scope small, leaving us with our imagination, which is waaaay better than massively expanding the scope and showing us everything in the shittiest, most disappointing way ever. The ensemble cast was absolutely perfect as well. One of the most effective scenes in the series (I compare it to the infiltration flashback in T1 or the ashen playground scenes in T2 on a goosebumps level) is when the Cromartie terminator gets new skin, kinda showing us how that works. It's fucking creepy and terrifying when those eyes get cut open.
