I know, who’d have thought it! If you said to me 6 months ago I’ll be working for a SUP company I’d have probably looked at you a bit funny and carried on walking. I think SUP’s get given a bad rep because of the way they abuse a line up in surfing sometimes. Yes we can all agree and hate on those crusty riders that steal every decent wave from further out than a surfer can, but from what I’ve found, the greater majority of Stand Up Paddleboarders are actually nice people It’s time to put your outdated stigma about SUP’s behind you and embrace all the positive aspects this sport can bring... Firstly it’s super accessible and easy to progress quickly due to being able to go out more often and practice in easier conditions. Secondly it’s a great socialiser. Being out on the water let’s you open up and feel free. Thirdly it’s great fitness. You’re constantly working on your core which feeds out into almost every part of the body. You can go chill and cruise around no problem but if you want a work out you can sink that paddle deeper and pull hard! Fourth just look how cool it is to be able to see a variety of coastal areas! No engine noise, no petrol fumes, low earth impact. Fifth...
