Setting up the first prop for a beautiful baby boy this morning. All our sets are created by hand before every shoot, so that no two images are exactly the same, and I can add special touches or be extra creative according to what parents have requested for their consultation. How lucky am I to have such an amazing job and a great collection of goodies to use! ❤️

The placement of a meaningful brooch. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I look at this I think of two meaningful brooches in my life. One is a stunning big glass purplish flower brooch... (I’m describing this terribly but it is so beautiful) that was my grandmas. I wore it on my formal dress to all three formals I attended in grade 12. Yep that's right...I wore the same dress to three different formals...didn't even cross my mind to have other dresses. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The other brooch is a little green frog that had googly eyes. I loved that brooch. I thought my used it to pin a hanky to my shirt... anyone else’s mum ever do that But once I found the photo this morning it looks like she sued a boring safety pin... Regardless I link that brooch to memories of Calico Jungle, a material shop over in Kirwan from a very long time ago. It had a cartoon lion on the sign and the song "in the jungle the mighty jungle the loin sleeps tonight' would always play in my head when we would visit. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I wonder what memories Stella will have from this day wearing this brooch of special importance.
