Ive read these words at least a over & over again as they couldn’t have come at a better time considering I’m finishing a book proposal this week and the ache is so incredibly real in my heart right now. And, I don’t know where you’re at in life, but if you’re reading this and the ache is showing up in your own heart, I hope that you ‘go into it, stay in it, and don’t leave until you get every word and every image the ache has to give you’—I’ll be doing the same.

I find this an amazing advice for any trauma survivor. It's easier to be gentle with yourself if you talk like you would to a child. Don't judge, don't be sarcastic or mean, don't put yourself down! Here's some symptoms I personally experience during an emotional flashback. It took me years to know what was happening to me. As emotional flashbacks don't have the visual component the more well known "standard" flashbacks do, it can be really hard to tell what's going on. After the recent death of my Papo this woman came via social media to my life.(Her daughter looked me up and wrote me a mystic PM I couldn't believe at first!) Actually a whole bunch of aunts, uncles and cousins appeared, as I eould learn my father was raised by the young woman his father had an affair with. Mi abuela (my biological grandmother) named Maria Encarnación just turned 90 and looking in her face is like feeling her pain of having to give her first born (my father) away and never saw him again plus a life full of hard work and financial poverty. She has the sweetest voice and her laugh refreshes me like summer rain, it has the same melody like my father's. And I can't stop behold of her. Pure beauty. I was born the same date like him and always had a special yet painful relation to him: accepting me, accepting my urgent need of approval by him was a harsh road, what I feel now is a lightness. Yet worlds are shaking and resurrecting- I know these days more peace was created now beetween generations, our family secrets were transformed into communication. And helped us all to gain more consciousness in this world. Do you have situations like this in your blood family? • ♡ I can only highly revommend to solve them, heal them, transform grudges to your and our all benefit. Do I cry and feel a lot?
