Day 89 of #100daysofpractice - woah. had a pretty busy & rough day today, but ended it pretty well with a great show choir concert. honestly, playing in show choir band makes me miss singing in choir which is a big sad. also had to mention that our school’s show choir is absolutely amazing and I am extremely proud to perform with them. :) • • • p.s. working on trying not to cringe when we mess up, sry about that @ the beginning lol. also you can barely hear me since the guy next to me was playing closer to my phone.

A few months back I posted about “lip multiphonics” where one lip vibrates at a different rate than the other! Here is an excerpt of Xenakis’ “Keran” with the effect in context. Day 88 of #100daysofpractice - we had our spring concert tonight and it went pretty well although there were a few weird spots ! this is “were you there?” by someone that I can’t remember (don’t have my music on me ☹︎ ). we also played a medley of every song we played this concert season and I had none of my music plus I missed today’s rehearsal because of my sister’s graduation, so playing most of my old music for the first time in a month was pretty interesting (and I didn’t really mess up so that’s a win).
