As you all know, I am not the biggest fan of sweet things, yet I would not mind to spare some room for amazing cakes and pastries. As you can see on the photo is the legendary and public’s favorite Red Velvet Cake: UNION’s (shoutout to the amazing pastry chef Karen Carlotta) — I admire her works and beautifully-crafted cakes and pastries. You might argue with me, however the Red Velvet is not my top favorite to be honest. If you ask me to choose between their Red Velvet or Thai Tea Cake, I have to say that I prefer the Thai Tea Cake more!

The Red Velvet Cake is amazing: fantastic even layers and texture with the overall nice and classic flavor. The proper amount of cream cheese creates the nice balance which prevents the whole cake to become overly sweet for me. For my personal preference which is not really pro to the sweet side, this was a tad too sweet for me (plus the caramel nut crumbles). However, I cannot simply judge something based on my personal non-sweet preference because I have to admit that this one is definitely amicable for most of you! Plus, the nice moist texture is just a definite yes for me!

In terms of her work in pastries and cakes, I think Chef Karen Carlotta is one of the best! I am always excited for the new and amazing creations coming at UNION and AMKC. I am definitely not the best to express opinions on the sweet side, but I always like to pay attention to textures, layers and proportions. I think those are essential to good pastries and this one scores an amazing one. Looking forward to try more of the exciting creations; all the best! @karencarlotta @unionjkt

The idea is come from Cinco de Mayo, a multinational Mexican-American annual celebration held on May 5.
In the United States, Cinco de Mayo has taken on a significance beyond that in Mexico. It's More popularly celebrated in the United States than Mexico.

My drink is a twisted from Daisy, a classic cocktail sour variations.
The essentials DNA of the Daisy is adding a little soda water to a Sour (spirit, citrus, sweetener). And guest what ! The Tequila Daisy, is the most popular drink in North America.

The interesting ingredients of my cocktail is a lime apple shrubs as souring agents. I combined the lime zest with powerfully pungency acetid acid from the apple vinegar for accompany Giffard Agave as a sweetening agent of my cocktail to get the right balance.
