Big bro and little bro. Gear for yesterday's wedding with @escmediaco @zhiyun_tech Crane 3 Lab handles the Sony A7III + Sony 24-70mm GM f/2.8 fine, even when zooming in and out with that heavy lens. What I did was that I balanced the lens at its middle focal length (40mm ish) and adjusted the motor strength to high. Prior to this setup I was using the Sony 24-105mm G f/4 lens on the Crane 3 Lab, balanced it with the middle focal length (60mm ish) and had the gimbal motor strength on high as well - I did noticed the gimbal overheating and shutting off twice during the ceremony. I've had that experience with the Crane 2 before, but totally didn't expect it to happen to the Crane 3 so fast. I think the overheating was caused from shooting outdoors in the sun for too long, because it never overheated when I was flying the Sony 24-70mm indoors, and that lens is heavier than the Sony 24-105mm.
