Copper Face Jacks, Harcourt Street - I really didn't wanna do this one folks...but it's my duty to you, the people. Don't get me wrong, over the last 6 months I've experienced more rejection than a CONCERN employee working Grafton Street. However, the idea of a night out in Copper’s still ranks 147th on my list of ‘things I'd like to do’, right after ‘taking a pounding from Big Bill Cosby’. - If your idea of an enjoyable night out is having a sweaty female in a Tipp jersey grind up against you (as "Cotton Eyed Joe" blares in the background), then Coppers is the place for you. Oh boy the music in this place really would make you want to Vincent Van Gogh yourself. - At approximately 4:45am the DJ announces the last song of the evening, and that's when all hell really breaks loose. The unfortunate men who ‘haven't yet pulled’ all of a sudden go into a frenzy and start grabbing females like loaves of bread during a famine. - Outside on Harcourt Street you're guaranteed to bump into a character named Padraig who is lathered in Brylcreem and ‘would’ve played county had it not been for his missus, Aoibheann, getting pregnant with their son Tomás.’ - As I was served the pint, I began to question whether or not the barman decided to pull his pants down and take a poo in my glass. Upon tasting, I can confirm he did in fact defecate in my pint, forcing me to leave the premises and seek enjoyment elsewhere.
