Back in Tarifa. This is where my digital nomad journey started in November 2015. It was my first test run on seeing if that even worked with me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I knew @johannes.voelkner was there and I knew not a single digital nomad. He told me to come and just check out the spots as many digital nomads where there. So I did. Little did I know how many people I would meet in my 14 days there that I would keep remeeting trip after trip. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While I was pretty unlucky with the wind back then, I got a glimpse of what nomad life was really like (and that it was harder establishing a productive work routine as I expected, especially when the wind is so unstable), which role kitesurfing had to take when I had to work, how open and inclusive the scene was. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Coming back here after all this time I feel how far I've come with my journey and what a different person I've become – simply being in this place and walking down this same beach with completely different thoughts and "problems" I have to solve makes me smile. Appreciate how far you've come! And your next steps and wins will feel so much sweeter ✌ by @zirinisp

Really starting to miss Essaouira but mostly being on vacation!

Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart. ― Roy T. Bennett ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A daily reminder. Even after 3 years on this journey I tend to forget. And sometimes spiral down into fear of the unknown. Trust your dreams and follow up on them, see what works for you and adopt it into your life. At first as a very distant dream. So distant, you might even feel a bit stupid for dreaming it. Don’t. Don’t ever feel stupid for wanting something you truly care about. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But maybe at this stage be careful whom you’re telling about your dreams and if they’re very fragile, even keep them to yourself. Start daydreaming and building your dream life in your head. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Follow up on it, ask yourself what you can do today to get closer. And most days, only the thought of keeping that vision and keeping your eyes open and not letting fear rule you over is more than enough. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If that dream is for you and you persistently think about it and work go make it happen, you might see the first big shifts after a while. For me that was after 1.5 years only to feel like it relapsed and another 1.5 years to make it more real and feasible. No quick successes and no short cuts. But oh seeing that dream become reality is a dream itself. celebrate that journey no matter how rocky it might get. And never ever give up ⚡️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ by @zirinisp
