That's what it's like here - Nana's perogies! . Except these aren't Nana's toppings. Things you'd never expect on a Perogy but after you try it, you cant imagine why not! . . I love dessert my friends! Its the best part of the meal! . Had the opportunity to try the parfait at flaming kitchen. It might not have normally tried it but was glad I did. . Two things I love to hear - black sesame ice cream and whipped cream. Along with cereal and almond granola it made for a pretty great ending. . . So instagram nation, I can't seem to get away from delicious Peking duck lately. No matter where I go. I don't even have to try to find it. Yay!! . Y'all know how much I like it so...YAY bring on that crispy skin baby! . We visited Yu Guo Yan (aka What Seafood) and feasted at the steam tables. The duck wasn't steamed though. Mes amis look at that delicious shiny crispy skin, you can't get that beautiful bark by steaming. . The wrappers were steamed and were super. They were tissue paper thin and had the slightest stretch from being steamed so they didn't break when you stuffed them with that glorious crispy duck! . 100% chance I'll be back. . I always joke that I like the kind of drinks that come with a snack. You know like a cherry or orange slice. . So I ordered the Ceasar from Next Door Restaurant (bookclub meetup) and look at that picture - it comes with a mini charcuterie board. Love. . Its very exciting looking and spicy and refreshing. I was able to ignore that it was rimmed with Montreal steak spice (when is that trend gonna stop?). . Its a heck of a lot spicier than its normally found elsewhere and the kick is nice ( but they'll adjust it for you!) . So this is what I'm getting everytime.
