Today was special...I knew it would be. Today was the day I planned to do #randomactsofkindness for Valentine’s Day. But you know, experiencing it was more than I could have even imagined. I start to get teary each time I think about it As always I got back so much more than I gave, so much more...it doesn’t even make sense or seem fair! My gestures were small and yet.... . Watch my stories for more...tears mainly haha...happy tears! Joyful tears! . . In case you missed it, I gave out 24 red roses and 20 small boxes of chocolates...spread out I gave to about 35 people. It was interesting...I learned lessons. I prayed and asked God to guide me. Each time I balked & hesitated and heard God’s nudge it was the best outcomes! The pizza place where there were 5 young men and one woman working and it was very public I didn’t want to go in. God urged me to go. It was incredible. They were so happy, so surprised. One said, “Really? For me? You just made my day!” If I had let myself judge I wouldn’t have been brave enough. This young man looked way too “cool” to care or want what I had to give....lessons everywhere! ...Don’t judge! Give! Oh I could cry all over again! . . The next lesson came when I was walking toward a group of young teenagers. I balked again and again heard God say go ahead. They were so amazing. They were so delighted. The 3 girls asked if they could hug me! And oh yes we hugged, we giggled...we didn’t want to part! . . I will never forget this day. Oh Friends, if you’re having a bad day or want to get outside of yourself just give. Give kindness in any form. It is the best therapy. It feeds the soul .
