Open Roleplay « An Apprentice for Grandpa Walt » “I can’t believe your taking on an apprentice.” Moaned Theo, towards her grandfather. “I thought you always said training me was just about as much as you could handle.” She claimed. “Yes, I did say that.” Her grandfather said. “But, you’ve learned so much. Maybe, this newcomer with look to you for inspiration.” He said, trying to make Theo understand. Theo wasn’t considered an apprentice, she was family. But she had learned all the magic she knew from him. He was all the family she had left. But they would never speak of it. “If they’re’s going to be an apprentice, does that mean your going to quit working?” She asked, despite her apprehensions about a new comer joining the two, she couldn’t help but he a little curios. “Of course not!” Her grandfather declared with a chuckle. “He’ll/she’ll help me in the shop, learning basic potions would be good for him/her. And you to.” She looked confused for a second, but then realized what he meant. “What? No! I don’t want to brew potions I want to—“ she went silent as there was a knock at the front door. It was (y/c), the newcomer, the apprentice. “I’ll get it!” Theo declared, as she raced to get to the door. She never thought to take off the dirtied apron she was wearing, or fix her slightly deshelved hair. She looked younger than her age, she was fifteen, but her young looks where made up for with her consistent sass and stubbornness. When she opened it, she discovered the new apprentice wasn’t what she had expected. Or was this the new apprentice? “Who are you?” She questioned, raising an eyebrow at the newcomer.
