This photo makes me think Sunna and I are from another time. Well it’s true, one of my favorite aspects of being together in Nature is that I often feel we find a bridge into another world. Riding this mare over mountains, through the winding ridges, into deep forests, through pockets of emerald light. Sometimes we ride over 5 diverse landscapes in one day. We are simultaneously alive in the infinite moments and observing a greater perspective of the rhythms of nature all at once. Social media has its flaws, which we won’t rant about now... but then there are these moments when it utterly redeems itself. Those moments when gates are opened for connection & opportunities arise to share your little piece of the world with a kindred spirit. We were honoured to be contacted & joined by the fabulous @stompycole who is currently half way through a cycling / swimming adventure from Devon. The end destination being the #ScottishWinterSwimmingChampionships this coming weekend. This morning some of the WWW Ambassadors & fellow ‘wild’ winter swimmers met to share with Lindsay our local pool. WWW Ambassador @laurenm_b is then accompanying Lindsay on her 100mile cycle across the country to meet her next swim community tomorrow. One day I’ll be a swimming dog - until then I’ll sit and watch these crazy idiots . An evening at work stuck in traffic up ‘the struggle’ for almost two hours, due to a RTC road closure. . A beautiful cold evening dip, with snow capped hills put things into perspective and reminded me to be grateful that my 2 hour inconvenience was caused by someone who was most likely having a life changing day . . Relish in the small things and remember to always be grateful. ❄️☀️
