Here’s a great way to understand what movements to focus on depending how many days a week you go the gym to train!

If you opt to train more often it is important to vary the training loads and reps so you don’t crash and tax yourself to an injury.
.
When you only train 3 times a week you must do a push/pull/legs. There is no ins and out about it. You can not only do push exercises because your posture will be in jeopardy, and your overall development will lack (chicken legs) and you won’t feel as great ignoring half of your body(endorphins). Pull days, and leg days are far more important than your push days for overall well-being so plan accordingly.

If you train everyday 7 days a week, you will see results with more variety of reps and with more sprints(sports) in the mix!

Days off don’t really exist, there is always something you can do, so do yourself a favour and remove that word from your training vocabulary. The less you speak it into existence the less excuses you will come up with. We literally sit or are at rest most of the 24 hour day so training hard for 1-2 hours a day is normal and one day will be a norm!!!
.
If you have not been seeing results in the last year of training you are either not training enough throughout the week, your eating too much or not enough, you prioritize other people more than yourself, and/or you truly don’t care that much♂️

Very simple movements, but the rep scheme is elegantly brutal. It’s been a tough week, and this was a tough way to finish today.

If you want bigger biceps then the tools you use, rather than the exercises you select and the variables you manipulate, could be key to faster muscle growth. Using an EZ-bar, which has an undulating handle, will stimulate greater muscle activation in your biceps than either a barbell or dumbbells.
❌ What NOT to do
- Overload the bar with weights
- Swing the body
- Lifting your elbows
- Arch your back
- Use too much momentum
✅ What TO DO
- Use reasonable weight
- Keep your body straight
- Keep your elbows close to your body at all times
- Don't use momentum, the movement should be slow and controlled at all times
This is an ego-lefting exercise, because it's super easy to get carried away and focus on curling as much weight as you can, rather than engaging the biceps and keeping the proper form. So what usually happens is you make mistakes that can very easily result in an injury in your lower back, wrists and sometimes even tearing muscles. It's simple - LEAVE YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR and focus on properly executing the exercise. Gains will then follow, trust me
