At 16 stories, the Avord Tower was the tallest office building in Regina when it was built in 1967. Yesterday the building's long-term tenant, @atlantiscoffeeco closed their doors after 15 years. We at Heritage Regina have had many meetings there and we're sad to see such an iconic restaurant close. But at the same time, we are excited for the future. Best of luck to @brewedawake to their new location. You have some big coffee mugs to fill and we look forward to giving you our business. ☕

In a market dominated by commercial grade low quality coffee @atlantiscoffeeco was the first shop to bring in specialty grade quality coffee. They definitely didn’t have to but they decided to bring in a great product and advance coffee here in the city. We are gonna miss them a lot and unfortunately think that it’s maybe a step backwards in elevation of the coffee scene here in #yqr . The city is already so saturated with sub par coffee.
