He just turned 8 years old in May, born 2011 4. Cleck is 16.3hh tall (168cms) 5. He‘s a bay, but has 1 white leg and a little white stripe on his nose 6. He has competed at national and international shows and has been placed up until 1m35 (M**) 7. He has the most amazing and sweetest character!! He loves loads of attention, cuddles and pats!! Ooh I LOVE this photo • LA MIA SCELTA BAREFOOT❤️ Già tempo prima di avere London mi ero informata sul tenere i cavalli barefoot, senza ferri, e mi era stato spiegato che i ferri erano stati inventati nel momento in cui hanno iniziato ad usare i cavalli nei lavori agricoli e specialmente sulle strade, dove lo zoccolo pensavano si sarebbe rovinato troppo. Inoltre c’è un’altra ragione: nei primi box la lettiera non era di qualità e non veniva mantenuta pulita come si è abituati ora, di conseguenza lo zoccolo marciva e per tenerlo sollevato dallo sporco utilizzavano i ferri. Nella gestione attuale dei cavalli pochi casi, legati in particolare a difetti di appiombi o altri problemi fisici necessitano i ferri, un qualsiasi cavallo in salute e curato nel mio modo di vedere le cose può farne a meno e questa è stata la mia scelta con London.❣️ È un cavallo giovane, sano, curato a dovere sia esternamente che internamente con cibo, integratori o medicinali per le sue esigenze e infatti una volta tolti non ci sono stati problemi. Ha da subito camminato e lavorato normalmente, chiaramente ultimamente è un po’ sensibile su terreni ghiaiosi ma è già una gran fortuna che dopo 2/3 anni di ferratura riesca in tutto ciò fin da subito. Ovviamente siamo seguiti da una pareggiatrice competente e disponibile per qualsiasi cosa.. che non è da sottovalutare se si sceglie questa strada! Sono contenta e spero non ci siano problemi, alla fine in natura sono così‍♀️ –cosa ne pensate del barefoot –i vostri cavalli lo sono? –vi piacerebbe che lo fossero?
