How well do you take care of the rest of your skin . Another #shelfiesunday is upon us and I thought I would shed some light on the products I enjoy after a hard workout. I've been trying to spend more time/energy on my body skin and with my workout routine, I want to make sure I'm avoiding back acne! . Using AHA exfoliation has been a shower trick of mine for a while now, I usually favor Kojie San soap to help shed the dead skin cells. Lately I've been enjoying glycolic acid in the form of @pixibeauty Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel.* This is a great way to make sure I'm getting gentle exfoliation, especially on my back. I find especially when I sweat hard, if I don't exfoliate I'll get some bumpy texture on my back.☝️ . I also like to use AHA's 1-2x a week out of the shower too for some extra skin love (also amazing way to avoid ingrown hair on your legs). The glycolic acid in Pixi's Glow Tonic* is perfect for this! . Speaking of ingrown hair and shaving, I wanted to share a new shaving cream that I'm loving, @shaveworks Pearl Souffle Shave Cream.* This cream claims to help you keep your legs silky and smooth longer and avoid those pesky ingrowns. Now I'm the kind of girl who has to shave every day for smooth legs so when I realized my legs were still relatively smooth on day 2, I was a convert! This also contains glycolic acid for some light exfoliation. This brand concept is pretty cool too, it was developed using all the innovation from men's shaving products and adapted for the ladies. . Confessions of a Skincare Hoarder: Toner Edition. So, I currently have 20 toners (or hydrating watery layers) on the go. It’s a lot. They’re one of my favourite steps in a skincare routine, and the step I would say has improved my skin the most over the years (see My 5 Steps to Glowy Skin on my blog for more info on that). . Some of these are PR, some were originally gifted and then I’ve repurchased myself, and some I’ve shopped for. I genuinely could not pick favourites from this line up...they’re all here because I actually think they’re all great. I don’t hold onto products I don’t like. . I am trying to destash, so I’m working on using up the remnants of 10 of these that have less than half the product remaining. I’m using them on my body as well as my face, which has had a seriously positive effect on my itchy dry skin across my upper back and shoulders.
