When the PCT provides you with a relentless snow year, you make snow cones.

When I shot this in April, Lake Powell’s water level was at 3,569 ft. Thanks to an off-the-chart snowpack in the Rockies, it’s now risen to 3,620 ft. It’s a high water year, but still 80 ft below Full Pool. Will it ever fill again completely? Or will it dry up, decimating the southwest’s water supply? Time will tell.
