Thsee words have been flying around my thoughts since Mass yesterday. The young deacon, soon to be Dominican priest gave such a beautiful and tangible homily regarding the hemorrhaging women and the healed sick child. The stories of the woman and her long struggles hit home with me so intimately, especially these summer weeks spanning mid May through early July. It was a beautiful moment to be reminded that my prayers are being heard and that I must press on in hopeful faith. . . . But I will admit the pressing on can take a toll, it can nearly smash you to bits and you find all is left in pieces. But no matter what, God will breath new life in all things; me included. . . . Come with abundant prayers and empty hands...and we will be heard, because our faith will save us.
