"It was one of those moments when everything aligned perfectly. The colour in the sky, the waves, the flow. I noticed some of the waves were big enough to cover the rock creating these beautiful waterfalls. In this scenario, I envision the shot in my head, set up the tripod and the camera, set all the settings and wait like a true hunter. Big waves come in series - several big ones, then 5-7 minutes of waiting, then big waves again. "This a Toco Toucan, taken near Aquidauana in the Southern Pantanal, Brazil. It is one of the most amazing birds I’ve seen. I love getting out on rainy days and they can provide some excellent opportunities to photograph birds. The birds don’t mind the rain and can spend more time closer to the ground (and there are also less people around). "Many people might have thought to capture the eagle with the full body and at an aperture sweet spot of f/8. But the situation here was pretty different, this shot was captured during the evening time around 5:30 pm and the sun had mostly gone down. Getting a smooth background was a bit difficult as it was close to the subject I was capturing.
