Parfums De Marly Layton Exclusif . . . The house of Parfums De Marly represents fall and winter with a bang, although most of their offerings are on the very heavy side, they have a few for the spring and summer. Layton Exclusif is a superb offering that the original Layton should have been. It has the best transitions of their entire line. It starts as Layton with added pink pepper and almond, then the olfactory jaunt begins. A little while on skin, you'll notice the deeper woody nuances: guaiac, sandalwood, and oud. Then patchouli creeps in, then civet, then coffee. There are other subtle nuances but who cares, this thing is done so well and I can't give enough praise to justify how good it is. I wish the oud was deeper but, am an oud addict so take that with a grain of salt. Otherwise highly recommended winner in my view. . . .
