The more I learn about Pilates, the more I fall in love with it ❤️ It just make so much sense from a functional perspective. For years I truly believed that the bodybuilding industry was the way to be healthy, but the more I learn the more I see how superficial and not healthy at all that is for me. Don’t take me wrong. I love the strength that comes with it and I have lots of friends who are true advocates, including me, I believe you should still do weights and be able to lift a certain amount of weight for performance and muscular growth. But it’s injury prone to start with, the dietary requirements are unreasonable and it comes with all sorts of long term sacrifices and consequences. Pilates is all about balance. A balanced mind and body.
