Just a little Trafic update #punny

The units are just about done and we’re moving onto soft furnishings and doors this week, as well as installing the sink, stove arrangements and all the boring under-the-worktop stuff that goes with them. We’ve been finishing the wood as we go along so that’s pretty much done now too ✅ Van builds are the best ♥️

The Trafic is finished!! @kktee and @tomrdavis picked it up on Friday ready for their first adventure to Wales in a weeks time. After giving them a full tour we chatted all about vanlife and their Europe travel plans, and then watched as they drove off into the distance We’ve had such good fun converting this one, partially thanks to how much creative freedom we had (thanks guys!) so are pretty sad to see it go! Onto the next one!

aaand we have doors! They first need staining and then we’ll add roller catches to keep them firmly shut while driving but we’re getting there

One thing that makes everything seem more finished: DOORS! Dan’s done an amazing job these past few days without me, making doors and drawers and worktop while I’ve been making cushions ✂️

Mornings in the campervan are so relaxing We’ve made it as cosy as possible (with our British weather in mind ) and it’s paid off! @renaulttraficcamperconversion

What I want to know is who at Renault thought having a door hole with that many corners would be a good idea? Also spy the little resin key hook that we threw in for our customer (who is apparently renowned for locking keys in cars )
